BIOPATH study
Many refugee children develop psychological problems due to the experience of war and displacement.
The BIOPATH study is a large cohort study investigating the biological pathways of risk and resilience in Syrian refugee children living in Lebanon.
VAST Study
Reliable and accurate measurement is essential to assess the mental health of refugee children.
The VaST study is building on the BIOPATH study in order to validate mental health measures and create locally validated cut-off scores with the help of clinical interviews.
t-CETA Study
Many refugee children don’t have easy access to mental health treatment.
The t-CETA study is adapting an existing transdiagnostic treatment approach (CETA) to delivery over phone for refugee children living in humanitarian settings.
